Special FULCRUM Meetup
Supporters are welcome to our November 29th meetup- in the basement pub where George Washington drank, no less. Hallowed ground for the believer in republic.
We’ve taken on a lot as a community, and as individuals.
We survived a supposed “once in 100 year” pandemic — cleanly survived. If you’re reading this, you survived. Welcome to the new era. Congrats.
We also survived an unprecedented attack on crypto and its values — DC establishment friendly possible patsy exchange FTX cost the industry some temporary credibility, no doubt, as did Senator Warren’s absolutely unhinged rhetoric.
Yet we made it through… back above a trillion US dollar market cap across all the major mineable cryptos.
Crypto is peer to peer money. If you can’t transact with your peers, are you free?
This year’s FULCRUM meetup doesn’t have any admission fee. Hopefully some of you can find cheap last minute flights out and lodging. (closest airports are BWI and DCA)
Due to personal stuff, I’ve had to skip or cancel on meeting some of you over the last few months. This humble meetup is the first one since the pandemic reared its ugly head. Good to remind ourselves this is a real community.
So if you’re free on the 29th, drop by for a beer in the very same basement pub where George Washington and his buddies used to drink when they visited colonial Annapolis.
7 Church Circle, Annapolis, MD
11am
Wednesday, November 29th
1747 Pub (side entrance basement of Reynolds Tavern)
This is an opportunity to reconnect in person as a community, from all reaches of the real world — let’s not forget who we are. We helped make Bitcoin and Ethereum happen. We helped the Podesta Emails go mainstream worldwide. We’ve had impact, and we’re just getting started.
Before a possibly chilly brutal winter, let’s rejuvenate and take in Washington’s literal founding spirit. He founded a country. We founded a new currency system, and the resurgence of free speech, using Internet as amplifier.
Time to start living again.

Looking forward to the get together ... should we bring any food?
pizza tastes good!
