The material world has hit me very hard lately. An engagement to my college sweetheart failed. I’ve also had heart problems (despite being Unvaxxed) that required an EKG and some further study, although I’m happy to report I’m fine now — the engagement was apparently the issue. The female, not long COVID, not shots.
I’m taking supplements for the lower back pain also and it seems to be helping, in addition to improved diet.
I can’t factor in fairly yet what extent the geofenced American blackballing of me played in the failure of that relationship, but I think it was significant.
For moving out to her city and being a known small biz owner willing to relocate the business, a local oil scion offered $10,000 to literally anyone who would relocate from the east coast or anywhere else to that city in order to spark further economic and creative growth. Online businesses and content creators, especially, were encouraged to take part in the exodus.
An elderly friend of Podesta, the oil scion I suppose was, I got a curiously worded note after several weeks of waiting that I would be “ineligible” for the award that literal drug dealers and basically homeless people receive. Oh okay. Awesome message to the next generation, oil boomer.
$10k doesn’t change anyone’s life, it’s obviously the principle. A degree of post-pandemic cultural alienation has set in. I really am a marked man, when actually, f these frail losers, their failing legacy financial system, and that’s the moment I realized it’s all rigged here in troubled east…
I made some calls to DC wine/Tito’s brethren & sisters, and some online research… and to my horror only about $1.5 million was being spent, annually, to lobby Congress in a pro-crypto manner. In the year 2023.
We need a genuine refresh here in sacred West, and it can be done very legally and peacefully. In line with political aesthetics.
An attorney friend didn’t quite resonate with the crude male analogy I used to explain how aggressively I hoped my resources would be spent to further crypto’s core civil rights and market access interests, but she said she could facesit on the boomers until they relented, and I said yes that will work, essentially.
Although not financial advice, I suspect the Nomura news out of Japan is only the beginning of the big shops coming around to Bitcoin in a notable way. An institutional tsunami of money.
The law is like sheet music, there’s an order to it. If you can read music, as I can (despite not being a good musician by any means, I can play several instruments) a legal adventure is not much different. Although a little abstract, there’s a finality to it.
Mozart’s Fantasia No. 3 in d minor is listened to by millions online and over the radio each year, yet you can’t build upon it. Can’t revise or delete it either, no matter how smart you are. It’s a finished work, much like a legal decision or exciting new pro-crypto precedent.
The cadence finally feels all right.
No guarantees of a victory in the imminent ideological/consumer war between fiat and crypto, but I can say, it finally feels all right. We’ve got our Senators. Even our Presidential candidates. Our pro-crypto regulators. Our pro-crypto mega fund managers like Fidelity and BlackRock.
The establishment has, well, itself. But establishments evolve to protect themselves; the same government that tried eradicating buffalo to starve Native Americans also funded NASA, and also passed the Civil Rights Act. I suspect establishment empire would prefer to be proud toll collector on the strong crypto road, rather than loser to a paradigm it can’t really control anyway.
A shopping mall near DC recently, and every ATM I walked past hungrily advertised that you could convert your dollars into Bitcoin there, the orange B glaring like something out of a Black Mirror episode teaser.
Yet here we are, almost in distantly futuristic 2024. Of course these things become successful over time is our unvarnished view.
