A Dragon's View
Weekend thoughts on the torched crypto landscape, and the failing redtape bureaucrat inheritor boomers who will lose the war, even as they notch some incidental wins along the way.
FULCRUM family and fellow visionaries,
As the markets trembled hard this week, I found myself purchasing more Litecoins. For me, the drops in cryptocurrency are nothing more than winds of winter that brush against an unwavering summer resolve. I've amassed "enough" Bitcoin and Ether, and these frigid normie winds do not chill my confidence.
They shouldn't scare you either, for unless you've sold, you've lost nothing this past week—verily.
The legacy system? Its echoes remind me of the old Houses of Westeros, long lost to time and folly. National governments seem to be wasting away our wealth like a mad king squandering his realm. But we see through the smoke and mirrors. The masses are awakening, much like the rise of a dragon, unstoppable and majestic.
Take heed of the presidential upheaval in Argentina, a nation in turmoil yet ripe with potential. Their leading outside candidate, a revolutionary in his own right, seeks to dismantle the central bank and forge a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency utopia. The winds of change are blowing, and a different world awaits us beyond the Narrow Sea of uncertainty.
The bureaucrats in the capital cities of our world—DC, Brussels, London—are losing wars with all the grace of a fallen House. They stumble in battles against invisible foes like COVID, retreat in distant lands like Afghanistan, and fail to stave off threats like Russia from Ukraine's borders. They pour gold and silver into efforts as futile as trying to tame a dragon who isn’t yours.
When they attempt to enforce their geofenced currency monopolies and suppress the rise of fair P2P money like Bitcoin, it's as if they are wielding a broken sword against the tide. Their adversaries, their subjects, their citizens—they no longer tremble before them. They don't fear the stick, for they've glimpsed the flames of a much brighter future.
The power of hodling, my friends, is the way forward.
To win, you don’t take a knee for anyone — no, you stand up.
It's the path that will melt the old system without violence, like dragonfire consuming the ties that bound us. Together, we can march toward a future where crypto reigns supreme, guided by the wisdom of those who see beyond the Wall of traditional finance.
Hold strong, ride the winds, and may our vision of the world rise like dragons taking flight.
Our enemies are fearful, visionless orphans in DC, Virginia, Brussels — inheritors and borrowers of power.
I have never been more confident. Maybe one of these days, one of my buys (or yours) will be the straw that finally breaks the weak old camel’s back.
Onward,
D
